Unashamed, on the Streets of Rome

Romans 1:8–17 reveals a blueprint for a "powerful Christian life" centered on bold confidence in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Writing from Corinth to a church in Rome he had never visited, the Apostle Paul articulates a worldview that transcends social, intellectual, and political barriers. The text identifies four primary pillars of Paul’s ministry: a spirit of commendation through prayerful gratitude, a desire for mutual connection and interdependence, a sense of universal compulsion or debt to humanity, and an unshakeable confidence in the Gospel as the transformative power (dunamis) of God.
